And the SAG nominees are… Not a ton of surprises in the acting guild awards, but there seems to be a lot of love for Everything Everywhere All At Once. A win for best ensemble would give it a big Best Picture boost (its got tough competition though.) Nominations I’m thrilled to see: Stephanie Hsu, Danielle Deadwyler, Steve Carrell, Adam Sandler, The Bear, Severance. That said, I’m disappointed Andor didn’t get any love outside stunt ensemble (at least the WGA nominated it). In general, SAG’s TV categories feel very safe and appear to be lacking diversity. The SAGs will stream free on YouTube this year and then jump to Netflix in 2024! Trend alert: Netflix getting into more live events. 🏆
