What to know

  • /Film: “Andor is the best live-action Star Wars show, so why aren’t people watching?”… Good question! Because Andor has been so good, it’s been frustrating to hear that the show isn’t doing great numbers. /Film suggests that’s due to potential Star Wars fatigue or perhaps more genre TV competition in general. I’d add that Andor doesn’t have a ton of pre-existing character recognition; Boba Fett and Obi-Wan used their recognizable heroes to draw eyes. Additionally, Andor’s tone is deliberately slow and calculated, maybe that was a turn off for some? All this to say, it’s a shame more people aren’t watching and recognizing this series for the gem that it is. If you like Star Wars and haven’t sampled it yet, give it a go, you won’t de disappointed. ✨
