The Flash production designer says Ezra Miller is so good in the movie “people will forget” the actor’s alleged crimes… Big yikes. As a reminder, Miller was arrested for drug possession in 2011, and faced two citations for disorderly conduct. Charges and accusations of burglary, disorderly conduct, harassment and second-degree assault followed in 2022. They’ve also been accused of drug abuse, child endangerment, and harassment in Vermont and Massachusetts. Separating art from artist is a personal choice for everyone. Whether you feel comfortable engaging and praising Miller is up to you, but to suggest that their performance in a comic book movie will erase past transgressions from people’s minds is pretty insulting to the real people Miller might have hurt in the past. 👎
