Paul Walter Hauser to play Chris Farley in Josh Gad-directed biopic… That’s some A+ casting right there. Hauser is such a good actor is basically perfect for the role. But what’s really wild is that Josh Gad, who is also a funny man with echoes of Farley in him, will be making his directorial debut on the project. But wait there’s more! Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the guys behind (500) Days of Summer and Daisy Jones and the Six are writing the script. The movie is based on the biography by Farley’s brother Tom Farley Jr. and Tanner Colby, and has the full blessing of Farley’s family. I am already seated for opening night. 👏
