What to know:

• Roku and Google settle YouTube feud… YouTube and YouTube TV won’t leave Roku after the two companies squashed their beef with a multi-year deal. Sometimes the cost of having all the entertainment at our fingertips at all times is the aggressive capitalistic competition that allows it in the first place. Pick the wrong streaming device and you might get screwed out of one of your favorite services for a bit. Luckily crisis was averted this time, but who knows what platform might disappear from Apple, Amazon, Chromecast, or Roku devices next. 📺

• Disney sweeps the People’s Choice Awards… “The People” have spoken and awarded Black Widow, Cruella, Shang-Chi, Free Guy, and Luca. I would like to know who these “people” are, because if I had to guess, they’re people who exclusively watch Disney+ and nothing else. I guess if it’s the goal of the People’s Choice Awards to identify what’s popular, mission accomplished. 🏰

• Don’t Look Up is underperforming with critics… It currently sits at 60% on RottenTomatoes, which is not what you want to see from multiple Oscar winners. I’m still optimistic, but losing faith fast. 🍅
