When Netflix emerged as the streaming TV destination in the mid 2010s it seemed like commercials were going to be a thing of the past. And they kind of are, if you can afford not to see them. Adding ads makes sense for Disney as it looks to wring out as many dollars as it can while still boosting subscriber numbers. 🏰
