Disney increases price of ESPN+ by $3… That’s a pretty large hike as far as streaming subscription price changes go — but sports carriage rights ain’t cheap and the Mouse needs to milk as much from its streamers as it can. Interestingly, THR also reports that Disney execs are eventually planning “to transition its linear ESPN channel to a direct-to-consumer offering.” Cable is dying a slow death. 🏈
