Jim Cameron tests 'Titanic' door theory
And Netflix sends mixed signals on password sharing
What to know
James Cameron is ready to admit Jack could have survived on the door… Big Jim has been adamant for years that Titanic hero Jack would not have fit on the floating door alongside Rose — and because Cameron is who he is, he decided to run a scientific simulation to prove it. The joke was on Jim though, as revealed in the Titanic: 25 Years Later documentary. The experiment yielded mixed results, forcing Cameron to admit, “Jack might have lived, but there’s a lot of variables.”
Netflix says it hasn’t decided yet how it will stop password sharing stateside… I pointed out yesterday that despite many outlets reporting that the Netflix password sharing crackdown will begin (and mandate users “check in” using the account’s home Wifi), Netflix’s own FAQ site didn’t reflect that. It turns out The Streamable was quoting Netflix’s policy for Latin American markets and how things will roll out in the U.S. are still TBD. Don’t believe everything you read. 🍿
