Copyright filing confirms Sacha Baron Cohen is joining Marvel… He’ll appear in the Ironheart series on Disney+. I’ve never heard of a copyright filing revealing casting news, but I’ll take it. It was previously rumored that Cohen would be playing Mephisto, a demonic villain whose appearance became a popular fan theory during Wandavision and subsequently a big joke when he didn’t show up. Marvel has taken its cues from popular fan theories in the past (like winkingly casting John Krasinski as a multi-versal Reed Richards in Doctor Strange 2), so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mephisto actually show up at some point. And any Sacha Baron Cohen is good Sacha Baron Cohen. 😈
