• Cowboy Bebop cancelled at Netflix… Big shocker! Cowboy Bebop was supposed to be the next big thing from Netflix. The streamer poured a ton into promotion and hype for the anime-adaptation. And then it debuted, got lukewarm critical reception, didn’t breakthrough in a major way with fans, and is now cancelled. It’s a bummer for the people who made the show (we’re so close to John Cho being a true action star). I wonder if the series was released weekly, would the hype have built differently and let the audience grow? We’ll never know. So long cowboy! 🍿
