• Netflix reportedly wants David Fincher to make its Americanized Squid Game series… This is just a rumor for now, so take it with a big grain of salt. While I’m still of the mind that an American transfer of Squid Game is completely unnecessary at least Netflix seems to be trying to differentiate it with a visionary director. If Netflix is going to remake the show stateside, they better make it different enough to be worth watch. If it’s not Fincher leading the show, hopefully it’s someone with as much signature as him. That way the redo won’t come off as a direct ripoff. 🦑
