• The Academy bans Will Smith from the Oscars for 10 years… This is a relatively harsh punishment, but fair in my estimation. I was assuming they’d only ban him for 2-5 years. This does lead to the awkward reality that Smith will probably return to the 2032 Oscars and it’s going to be treated like some kind of triumph.
