Pete Davidson reportedly eyed for Oscars hosting gig… It’s hard to tell how real this is, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Davidson ended up hosting. He’s hardly traditional, but if the Academy wants to reach young viewers, Mr. BDE might be a good bet. Would his style of comedy and general persona vibe with the buttoned up gala? I’m not so sure. My preference for a young host would be Tom Holland, who is not only a song-and-dance man but also Spider-Man, but that’s just me. 🎤
