What to know
Quentin Tarantino preps “final” film The Movie Critic… Tarantino has written the script and is looking to roll on his 10th movie this fall. The Movie Critic is rumored to be “set in late 1970s Los Angeles” and has “a female lead at its center.” Only 3 of QT’s 9 movies have a solo woman lead, so that’s exciting. THR speculates that the movie could be about Pauline Kael, one of the most influential movie critics of all time. Interesting that he’d follow up Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood with another Hollywood story set just years later. The big question though, will this be his last movie? In the past he’s said he only wanted to make 10 films and would retire by age 60. This would be #10 and he turns 60 this month. That said, I don’t buy it. He seems far too passionate to call it quits. 🎥
