The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power scores glowing reviews… All that Amazon money went somewhere. Top critics, as collected by Uproxx, are saying the show looks “incredible,” is “engaging and awe-inspiring,” “gorgeously immersive and grandly ambitious.” Whoa. And how about this from The Guardian: “It is so cinematic and grand that it makes House of the Dragon look as if it has been cobbled together on Minecraft.” Methinks I need a bigger TV. And yet the show is sitting at an 81% on RottenTomatoes, so there have to be some critics that weren’t as keen. Adjust your watch lists accordingly. 💍
