• David Harbour to star in Neill Blomkamp’s Gran Turismo feature… Video games, they make movies! Gran Turismo, which has nothing to do with Gran Torino, will be a feature adaptation of the long-running Sony Playstation car racing game, but here’s the meta twist: “Based on a true story, the project is described as the ultimate wish-fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won him a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.” Bold of them to put the auto sponsor in the log line. Harbour will play a retired (and likely grizzled) driver who teaches the teen how to race. Naturally. 🏎
  
  Also, did you see the poster for David Harbour’s Violent Night? In which Harbour plays a badass Santa Claus who fights off home invaders? The tagline is fittingly “YOU BETTER WATCH OUT.” I probably won’t end up seeking that one out, but I’m glad it exists. 🎅🏻
