The Eras Tour sellouts are massively outpacing Barbie, Spider-Man: No Way Home…These numbers are crazy: 4,200 out of 13,000 showtimes are already sold out (32%). Barbie sold out just 500. The domestic tracking is still putting Taylor at $100-$125M, but I’m thinking it hits $140M easy and wouldn’t be surprised to see it at $150M or $160M. Globally, they say the movie is heading for $200M max, which also seems low. A few weeks ago I was speculating on how much Swift herself will make from the movie, thanks to her lucrative deal with distributor AMC. The report is at least $60M, thanks to its strong pre-sales — but again, it’s only going to grow from there. Wild stuff. 🎸
