  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever does $28M on Thursday night… That’s enough to land it in the top 15 Thursdays of all time, but behind Thor: Love and Thunder, Spider-Man No Way Home, and Doctor Strange 2. Still, analysts predict a domestic take anywhere between $175M and $200M this weekend, which will be success on par with most of those recent Marvel hits. I saw Wakanda Forever last night. Quick thoughts: Its 85% on RottenTomatoes seems about right. It was good not great, thanks to a thin villain and excessive runtime. That said it was very emotional and maybe the first Marvel movie in which I heard audible sobbing from the audience. 🎟
