Tom Holland says Spider-Man No Way Home serves as “the end of a franchise”… You kind of had to see this coming, right? Despite only being introduced in 2016, Tom Holland has portrayed Spider-Man in 6 movies. A big trilogy capper seems right for the character’s journey. Based on Holland’s comment, it doesn’t seem like he’s closing the door completely (a tonally different Spider-Man vs Venom is probably in the cards) — but the Homecoming era is definitively ending. 🕷
