Vince Gilligan’s new show sounds fantastic… With Better Call Saul ending on Monday, the Breaking Bad creator is prepping his next series — and it’s got nothing to do with crime and drugs. Deadline reports that up to 9 networks will hear Gilligan’s pitch about “a blended, grounded genre drama,” something akin to The Twilight Zone that bends our reality while “holding a mirror to humanity.” This of course harkens back to the creator’s X-Files days, though Deadline explains this new series isn’t sci-fi exactly. Whatever it ends up being, I’ll be tuning in. 🆕
