The writers are back at work, here’s what they got… The WGA called the deal exceptional, here are the major wins 148 days of striking got the writers: A 12.5% pay increase over 3 years, streaming bonuses when a show does well (plus confidential access to hours-watched metrics), minimum staffing requirements (though solo writers, like Taylor Sheridan, can still do their thing), AI will not be considered a writer and the studios have to disclose when they’re providing a writer with AI-written material.
