What to know
Kevin Feige explains the 6-year gap between Avengers movies… We got 4 Avengers movies in the Infinity Saga, at least one capping each phase. The Multiverse Saga will instead only include 2 Avengers movies at the very end of its 3 phases. Why the change? Feige explains that with the amount of shows and movies Marvel is now putting out, in addition to some pretty big team ups throughout (Doc Strange 2, Ant-Man 3), those mid-level Avengers movies aren’t necessary. He instead sees the Avengers films as saga cappers. This is savvy from both a creative and business standpoint. It doesn’t spoil the audience and allows those Avengers movies to still be big moments. The 6-year wait will only build demand for those finales. Disney—and the fans—will thank Feige once again in 2025. 👍
