• David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan are your new Superman and Lois Lane… Great casting decisions by James Gunn. Corenswet has the exact Clark Kent look and was fantastic on The Politician (check that one out, it’s underrated). Brosnahan is arguably an even bigger star, having won multiple awards for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and it’s cool to see her get a big shot like this. DC, the future of superhero movies, and the future of movies in general (sort of) need this to be a success and the casting had to be just right. I’m pretty encouraged by this news. 🦸🏻

• Ryan Seacrest to replace Pat Sajak as host of Wheel of Fortune… Unlike Jeopardy!, there’s not going to be any succession drama with Wheel of Fortune, because they went with the most conventional, logical, and safest choice possible. Yet it probably also cost them an arm and a leg — because Ryan Seacrest, the defacto host of everything, knows what he’s worth. Seacrest will be his normal Seacrest self and could end up hosting the show for many, many years. You know, as long as they have the budget to pay him. Reports say that Vanna White is also in talks to return, but one has to wonder how long she’ll stick around. ☸️
