Mr. Beast, arguably the king of YouTube, teamed up with mobile game Brawl Stars to make a real Squid Game (minus the deaths) and it worked! He gave the winner $460,000! It has 46M views in 24 hours. The scale here is shocking and impressive — but even more revelatory is how Beast’s version echoes, reinforces, and comments on the original text. It’s fascinating to see how real players strategize when faced with the games, especially the glass bridge. If Netflix was smart it would be developing a non-lethal reality competition version of Squid Game right now. The successful proof of concept is right here. 🦑
